Day 4 Master Cleanse Delta Edition – Hand rash
Today started with a salt water flush. Took almost an hour to kick in today. My stomach felt sick before it ummm flushed.
I usually get weak during the flush so I have an icy glass of spicy lemonade waiting for me on the sink. The master cleanse drink brings my energy level right back up. I would never have thought that you could get so much real energy from such a basic drink. It is a true energy drink without the crash of sugary or caffeinated drinks.
Today I am craving pancakes and waffles with lots of syrup as well as scrambled eggs and every form of breakfast sausage. I could do some serious damage at the Bob Evans that is around the corner from us.
I went on a 20 mile bike ride today. My energy level was pretty low from the start. The wind was in my face the first half which helps on the way back.
I drank 24 ounces of the spicy lemonade minus the cayenne pepper plus 24 ounces of water. Generally I only drink 24 ounces of water on the same distance. Once my digestive system is completely shutdown I expect to see an increase in my energy level.
The hand rash that I get during each cleanse has really kicked in. it is itchy and red. It almost looks like I got into some poison ivy. This is actually a reaction to the toxins being eliminated through the skin.
I am looking forward to eating food. I miss the textures and tastes very much. I was telling Anika about Thanksgiving and all the good food that Grandmama and Grandaddy will be making. From the turkey to the mashed potatoes to the ooey gooey asparagus casserole, hot buttery rolls, celery with cream cheese and seasoned salt. Then on to the pie. Oh how I love pie. Pie is so much better than cake to me.
Her eyes were wide and her mouth was open. She and I have a common bond. We enjoy pretty much anything we eat. The other 4 in the house could care less about half of the food put in front of them. Well, Mason does eat a lot, but he can be picky.
I am at 204 today. Down 1 pound from yesterday and 6 total.
