Master Cleanse Diet Recipe
The original master cleanse diet calls for:
2 tbs fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 tbs grade b organic maple syrup
8oz distilled water
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
I vary it by making it in a 20 ounce cup with 3 tbs of maple syrup 5 tbs of lemon juice a dash of cayenne and the rest water.
I really enjoy 2 ice cubes in the mix as well. I do drink it many different ways warm, room temperature, with ice and out of the refrigerator to vary the experience as it can be quite boring.
At night I do occasionally drink a decaf mint tea.
The cleanse does need to happen as well, so you may need a tea for that. I use Smooth Move laxative tea occasionally for fun…but usually just stick with 20 oz of water and 2tbs of sea salt every morning first thing.
