by on March 10, 2010

Single Serving Recipe:

2 Tablespoons of organic lemon Juice (about 1/2 a Lemon)
2 Tablespoons of Organic grade B maple syrup (not the commercial kind you put on waffles and pancakes)
1/10 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper powder
Ten ounces of filtered water

Full Daily Serving (60 Oz.) Recipe:

60 ounces of filtered water
12 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup
12 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice
1/2 Teaspoon cayenne pepper powder

Additional Items:

Sea salt - Unrefined, (Not iodized) or Epsom Salt - Laxative tea can also be used in place of the sea salt.

Natural Herbal Tea (decaffeinated)

Notes:

To make sure you get all the detoxing benefits, you absolutely must use filtered water. The goal of the Master Cleanse is to remove toxic substances, so all of the ingredients you use should be organic in nature.

The laxative tea can be used in place of, or in addition to the sea salt. The purpose of both of these items is to increase eliminations. Personally, I think the sea salt is more effective, but if you just can’t stand the sea salt, the laxative tea will work fine.

The herbal teas (decaffeinated) can be used to help break the monotony of drinking the plain lemonade. These teas come in an assortment of flavors.
